The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has raised concerns over the enrollment of students in colleges affiliated with foreign educational institutions without obtaining proper permission.
Through an official notice, the Ministry has released a list of 49 educational institutions that have received authorization to offer programs such as Advanced Level, International Baccalaureate, CBSE, or equivalent courses. It strongly urges all concerned parties to refrain from admitting students to programs offered by unlisted educational institutions.
The Ministry's caution comes amidst reports from the International Education Providers of Nepal, which claims that a total of 89 educational institutions in Nepal are operating with affiliations to foreign academic programs and boards.
Warning against non-compliance, the Ministry emphasizes that educational institutions found running foreign courses without proper permission will face legal repercussions.
