Medical Education Commission (MEC) has issued a notice to deposit the outstanding dues and fines for those students who were admitted to study in free scholarship seats via an integrated entrance exam conducted by the commission but dropped their studies midway.
The commission revealed that a total of 66 students had left their studies on midway after admitting to study in the free scholarship seats. The students are requested to contact the MEC and deposit the outstanding dues and fines into the Revenue Fund of the Government of Nepal as per the Scholarship Act, 2021.
According to the commission, only those students who have deposited the aforementioned outstanding dues and fines will be allowed to participate in the matching process conducted by MEC.
