Marin Rural Municipality of Sindhuli has introduced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in community schools to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities. According to the municipality, the use of ICT had previously been piloted in a few schools and showed promising results, prompting the decision to expand the initiative to more schools.
This year, the municipality has provided ICT equipment to 18 community schools under this program. The distributed tools include e-attendance systems, laptops, printers, projectors, and smart boards, all aimed at supporting digital learning environments.
Out of the total 45 community schools within the municipality, the selected 18 schools have received these technologies to promote smart education practices and modernize classroom learning.
