The Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Science has started its works. The Institute has been set up by the Bagmati State government.
Bagmati State government Chief Minister Dormani Poudel , who is also the Chancellor of the Institute informed that the Institute has formally started its business.
Addressing the first assembly of the Institute here today, he said the Institute was a dream of the people of the Bagmati state and his aspiration from the beginning.
He instructed the bodies under the Institute to work with commitment and dedication for achieving the Institute's objectives.
On the occasion, Bagmati State government's Minister for Social Development and Pro-chancellor of the Institute, Yuba Raj Dulal said the works of the institute would now be continued ahead with the appointment of the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar soon.
He declared that Hetauda Hospital has come under the Institute from today itself and other hospitals under the State would also be brought under the Institute.
