The Lalbandi Urban Literature Council recently conducted a creative writing training program for students, focusing on poetry, songwriting, and ghazal. Dr. Devi Nepal, a renowned literary writer and professor at Nepal Sanskrit University, led the training sessions for students from various secondary schools in Lalbandi municipality.
Suman Ghimire, the secretary of the Urban Literature Council, shared that the primary goal of the training was to provide students with the skills to write songs, poems, and ghazals and learn sutras. Notably, Nepali subject teachers from secondary schools were also encouraged to participate in the program. Chandakavi Kumar Dahal (Kumum) added artistic flair to the session by reciting a one-verse poem for the participants.
The creative writing training program concluded successfully at Everest Residential Secondary School in Lalbandi-5, under the leadership of Urban Literature Council Chairman Achyut Adhikari. The event received the gracious presence of Lalbandi Municipality Chief Vasudev Adhikari and the special participation of Basanta Neupane, Chief Administrative Officer.
