The Kathmandu University of Nepal and the Siam University of Thailand have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to increase the number of Thai students in glaciology who are in higher study in Nepal.
The MoU was signed between the two universities following the bilateral meeting between visiting Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Thai counterpart Paetongtarn Shinawatra on Wednesday.
It is the first official visit of the Nepali Prime Minister to Thailand since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
KU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Achyut Wagle and Siam University President Dr Pornchai Mongkhonvanit signed the MoU.
