Kathmandu University Launching Bachelor of Technical Education in various specializations

Kathmandu University which was running Bachelor of Technical Education in Livestock and Plant Science has also started offering specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology.

To run those programs, Kathmandu University signed three separate agreements today with Butwal Technical Institute (BTI), Janaki College for Professional Studies (JCPS) and Sindhuli Samudayik Technical Institute (SSTI) at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel.

The agreement was signed to run Bachelor of Technical Education (Mechanical General) at BTI, Bachelor of Technical Education (Information Technology) (B.Tech.Ed., IT) at Janaki College for Professional Studies, and Bachelor of Technical Education (Information Technology) (B.Tech. Ed. (IT)) and Bachelor of Technical Education (Civil Engineering) (B.Tech. Ed. (Civil Engineering)) at Sindhuli Samudayik Technical Institute.

The Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma signed on the behalf of Kathmandu University whereas the Chairperson of Board of Directors Mr. Shivaraj Subedi on the behalf of Butwal Technical Institute, the Chairperson Mr. Pankaj Jalan on the behalf of Janaki College for Professional Studies and the Secretary Mr. Govinda Gajurel on the behalf of Sindhuli Samudayik Technical Institute.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, the Founding Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma, the Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, the Dean of School of Education Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, the Dean of School of Engineering Prof. Dr. Manish Pokharel, and other delegates were also present at the signing ceremony.
