The much-anticipated annual event, KMC Funmania 2081, organized by the KMC Students Catalyst Committee, was successfully held on Asadh 07 at the KMC Lalitpur premises.
Sponsored by KMC Lalitpur, AOC, and ACC, the event has been established as a signature program. It commenced at 10 AM in the open grounds of KMC Lalitpur, drawing enthusiastic participation from students across various schools nationwide who had recently completed their SEE exams. Approximately 3,000 attendees gathered to enjoy the festivities.
The event featured a cultural showcase reflecting traditional heritage, alongside captivating performances in dance, singing, and flute playing, which enthralled the audience. Notable artists such as Samir Shrestha (Ft. Good Boys), Prasina Ft. Regan, Sushant Ghimire (Ra. Raga), and Achal Shahi Thakuri delivered mesmerizing performances. Additionally, dance artists like Neshan Susling Magar, Swastik Aryal, Sajan Gurung, and Winner Rai had the crowd dancing along in their seats.
Sagun Lawati, a student from EPS Baneshwor, praised the event, saying, "The KMC Lalitpur program provided full entertainment. I really liked KMC College situated in a beautiful setting with a peaceful environment in the open field." Komal Rayamajhi, a student from Everest School, Lalbandi, added, "I really liked the KMC program. The atmosphere here is familial and intellectual. I had the opportunity to meet new people in a new place. I was very impressed by the college's program."
Principal Sunil Gaire highlighted KMC Lalitpur's commitment to nurturing students' inherent potential through continuous extracurricular activities. The day, filled with musical tunes, singing, and dancing, passed by swiftly amidst the audience's applause. KMC Lalitpur Funmania concluded successfully at 5 PM.
