Patan Multiple Campus

Kathmandu Model College (KMC) in Bagbazar, a renowned institution in the educational sector, successfully conducted its 'Management Simulation Program 2081' for BBA and BBM eighth-semester students on Friday, Asadh 07. The event took place at Hotel Ryan in Gaushala and was facilitated by Professor Dr. Upendra Kumar Koirala, Chairman of the college management committee.

This program, a key event in KMC's annual calendar, has been running for the past three years. Its primary aim is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The simulation program involves students operating within various company modalities, making their learning experience more hands-on and practical.

Students were organized into departments such as Marketing, HR, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, mimicking a real company structure. They also appointed a company chairman and general manager to conduct board meetings, giving a comprehensive feel of running a company. Swikriti Manandhar, an eighth-semester BBA student, chaired the meeting, while Ayush Thapa, an eighth-semester BBM student, served as the general manager.

Participants highlighted the benefits of such programs in preparing for future professional challenges, problem-solving, and strategic planning. The event, attended by around 70 students and faculty members, began at 8 AM and concluded at 4 PM. Certificates were awarded to all participating students.

KMC, which received QAA certification from the University Grants Commission in 2023, consistently organizes various programs for the holistic development of its students. The college has maintained a leading position in university examinations and has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as one of the top private educational institutions in the country.
