The Kathmandu Metropolitan City Education Department has recently issued a directive concerning the renewal of leases for community schools. The directive instructs not to proceed with the renewal of lease agreements.
This directive specifically targets community schools that fall under the jurisdiction of the metropolitan city. It comes as a response to various discrepancies observed in the lease agreements of these schools.
Several community schools operating within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City have been found to have increased the rent for buildings within their vicinity. Additionally, it has been noted that some schools have failed to obtain approval for their lease maps.
Upon thorough monitoring, it has been discovered that the deadlines for the lease agreements of these schools have expired. Consequently, the directive mandates against renewing leases to extend these deadlines any further.
