Intern Doctors’ Association of Ayurved Campus padlocked the Ayurved Campus, Kirtipur and Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council, demanding that their seven-point demand be addressed at the earliest.
The agitating Ayurvedic doctors (Kabirajs) padlocked the administrative department of Ayurved campus on September 4 and Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council on September 9.
Though they have not obstructed academic activities, the admission process has come to a halt due to their protest.
Dr Niraj Yogi, one of the agitating doctors, informed that IDAAC had submitted their seven-point demand earlier to NAMC and the campus administration.
“It has been more than a month since we submitted our charter of demands, but we have not received any response from the concerned authorities. We are left no option than to stage protest. We will not end the protest until the concerned bodies respond to our demands,” he said.
