On December 28, the Hult Prize at IOE successfully launched its inaugural talk series via Zoom, providing a valuable mentorship platform for participants engaged in the Hult Prize global challenge. For those who missed the live session, here's a concise recap of the key highlights.

This year, Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus, collaborated with prominent sponsors Taskade, Rastriya Banijya Bank, and Protozoa Host, acting as hosting partners. The talk series, titled "Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship," aimed to disseminate success strategies and offer insightful advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, both within the Hult Prize community and the broader entrepreneurial world.

The Talk Series I commenced with an introduction by the MC, Miss Riyaj Nepal, followed by the participation of renowned social entrepreneurs Samaya Khadka, Akrit Dhungel, and Niraj Kafle. Campus Director Mr. Aditya Pandey set the tone by welcoming attendees, outlining the goals of the talk session, and inspiring participants to actively engage in the mentorship session.

Samaya Khadka, CEO of Sharing Opportunities, kicked off the series by sharing his remarkable journey in the online platform realm. He actively involved the audience in a brainstorming session, encouraging diverse ideas and emphasizing the value each individual brings to the entrepreneurial table.

Next, Akrit Dhungel, co-founder of OnlyApply, provided insights into navigating challenges and seizing opportunities in the business world. He stressed the importance of an "anti-fragile" mindset and resilience in the face of setbacks, highlighting the transformative nature of failures on the path to success.

The third speaker, Niraj Kafle, Co-founder of Offering Happiness, shared personal anecdotes, impact stories, and innovative solutions, underscoring the ethical aspects of social entrepreneurship. He emphasized the broader scope of social entrepreneurship, not limited to immediate aid but extending to creating sustainable impact and empowerment.

The event received an overwhelming response from participants, with a lively Q&A session demonstrating the engagement and enthusiasm of attendees. The collaborative efforts of the Hult Prize team and the vibrant participation of campus delegations from various colleges further enriched the event.
