Hult Prize 2024 - NCIT Encourages Global Innovation

Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) is poised to make a significant impact as the distinguished host of the upcoming Hult Prize competition. This platform is renowned for kickstarting student innovation on a global scale. The HULT PRIZE, themed "UNLIMITED" this time, is encouraging aspiring students to seize an exhilarating opportunity to showcase innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit without limits.

Enthusiastic students are being urged to step forward and participate, with a promise of a plethora of resources to align their ideas. The best idea from each campus will progress to the regional level, and victorious OnCampus participants will compete globally, aiming for the ultimate prize of $1 million.

Beyond the monetary reward, the HULT PRIZE competition serves as a training ground for participants to address issues related to any of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This presents a unique opportunity for students to tackle real-world problems and contribute to a better future. Teams of 3-5 members, with the flexibility to collaborate with individuals outside their campus or university, are invited to participate.

Recognizing the significance of the HULT PRIZE competition, Nepal College of Information Technology is actively encouraging its students to join the fray. Hult Prize NCIT has taken various initiatives to support and motivate students, including a grand Information Session held on December 11, 2023. During this session, students received an overview of the competition's roadmap and were inspired by esteemed speakers: Ms. Eeda Rijal, an accomplished Entrepreneur and Co-founder at Covid Connect Nepal and Sochware, and Mr. Samundra Paudel, Founder and President of Alternatives Nepal.

With students actively preparing for the competition and competing for impressive rewards such as gift hampers and certificates, the ultimate champions stand to gain not only esteemed recognition but also a substantial cash prize. Supported by the guidance of NCIT college, participants are poised to shine at the grand finale of the Hult Prize competition.
