National Examination Board (NEB) has published an urgent notice regarding Grade Increment for the students of Grade 12 examination 2081.

Eligibility for Grade Increment Exam

Students who have participated in grade 12 regular examination and have secured a minimum D grade in all subjects and were either absent or got NG (Not Graded) are eligible to participate in the grade increment examination (Supplementary Examination). 

This supplementary examination is applicable for candidates of the annual Class 12 examination conducted in the month of Baisakh 2081. This includes regular examinees (registration numbers starting with 80) who participated in the theoretical examination and:

  • Received a minimum of D grade or higher in other subjects but obtained NG (Not Graded) in up to two subjects.
  • Received a minimum of D grade or higher in other subjects but were absent in up to two subjects.
  • Received a minimum of D grade or higher in other subjects but obtained NG in one subject and were absent in one subject.

Grade Increment Exam 2080 Details

  • Grade increment examination date: 2081 Bhadra 25 and Bhadra 26.
  • Examination Time: 11 AM to 2 PM
  • Application Form Fee: NPR 600 and 1200 for normal and late fee respectively
  • Application Form Deadline
    • Bhadra 14, 2081 (normal fee)
    • Bhadra 19, 2081 (late fee)

Compulsory English (0041)

Subject with the smaller code number among the subjects they are appearing for the exam. However, those taking supplementary exams in both Compulsory English and Compulsory Nepali must take Compulsory English (0041) on the first day and Compulsory Nepali (0021) on the second day.

Notes

  • The supplementary examination will be conducted over two days only. Candidates taking an exam in only one subject must appear on the first day (2081/05/25).
  • Candidates appearing for Compulsory English (0041) will have their examination only on the first day.
  • Candidates appearing for two subjects must take the subject with the smaller code number on the first day (for candidates appearing for both Compulsory Nepali (0021) and Compulsory English (0041), even though the smaller code is 0021, they must take the 0041 exam on the first day).
  • There will be no alternative arrangements for candidates who miss the scheduled examination.
  • The examination will not be postponed without prior notice from the Examination Control Office, even in the event of an emergency holiday.
  • Candidates must bring necessary items such as graph paper, charts, logarithm tables, payment vouchers, etc.
  • Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or other electronic devices into the examination hall is prohibited. Violation of this rule may result in the cancellation of the examination.
  • Information regarding examination centers will be published later.
  • Candidates must take the exam at the assigned centers only. Changing centers is not permitted.
