Gandaki University Boosts Global Collaboration For Academic Excellence

In a short period since its establishment, Gandaki University has expanded its relations with various prestigious international institutions.

The university has boosted global partnerships by signing memoranda of understanding with 28 renowned universities and organizations worldwide, as stated in the understanding documents.

Dr. Kailash Timilsina, the Registrar of the university, informed that collaborations have been established with esteemed institutions from 12 different countries. The university is committed to working together with these institutions on various projects and educational programs.

Collaboration agreements have been reached with institutions such as California State University (USA), University of Central Missouri (USA), Royal Holloway, University of London (UK), Inha University (South Korea), and others.

Notably, partnerships have been forged with Ondokuz Mayis University (Turkey), Central Luzon State University (Philippines), Mahidol University (Thailand), and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (India).

Gandaki University has actively engaged in international cooperation, focusing on research, curriculum development, student exchange programs, and credit transfers.

The university has aligned its IT programs with those of Central Missouri University, enabling credit transfers. Collaboration agreements with American universities provide scholarship opportunities and in-state tuition fees for students transferring from Gandaki University.

Additionally, Gandaki University is represented in the GoGreen Research Project, a collaboration led by Roskilde University (Denmark) and the Independent Research Council of Denmark. This global project involves partners from 28 countries, aiming to develop the field of art based on natural silk in collaboration with William Morris and Simasari Conservation, Community Empowerment, IT Education with the University of Eastern Finland, and others.

Ravi Bhandari, Chief of the International Relations and Development Affairs Branch of the university, provided information on these international collaborations and initiatives for the development of various sectors.
