Chairman of the Tribhuvan University Grants Commission (UGC), Ganeshman Gurung, today laid the foundation stone of a building of the Mangal Multiple Campus here.
On the occasion, Gurung emphasised on the need of promoting quality education in the present age characterized by high competition and also expressed the belief that the building will be very useful for overall progress of the campus.
According to principal of Mangal Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur, Pradeep Maharjan, the estimated cost of the building with 50 rooms is Rs. 100 million. The building is expected to be completed within four years.
The campus plans to run Masters level classes under different faculties as well as classes in technical subject after the construction of the building and other physical infrastructures.
