Kathmandu- Sahash Nepal has felicitated the students for securing outstanding results in Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2079 from Dakshinkali Municipality.
In a program Conducted on Saturday at the community building in Sallaghari Kathmandu, 15 students studying in community and institutional schools from Dakshinkali Municipality Ward No. 4 were honored and given a career counseling session.
Prakash Bishunke, founder and president of the organization, informed that all Dakshinkali Ward No. 4 students who were successful in SEE were handed over certificates of appreciation and diaries.
The chief guest of the program, Mohan Basnet, mayor of Dakshinkali municipality, emphasized that future education is technology-friendly, so it is important for students to pay attention to it. Mayor Basnet said that various new programs had been launched by allocating the budget and prioritizing the educational sector through the thematic committee.
City Deputy Chief Basanti Dangol Tamang expressed her happiness in organizing the honor program with the same courage as the organization's name. In addition, Suresh Basyal, a member of the municipal executive and coordinator of the economic development committee, suggested using one's discretion and making future decisions according to one's wishes without following the appearance of others. He said there is a trend of going abroad for higher education after passing SEE and 12th standard. He said that if we stay in the country as much as possible and contribute to society along with studies, we can make our community prosperous quickly.
Similarly, Lions Club Dakshinkali's founder president urged youths to participate in social service and to move forward voluntarily from their respective areas.
Along with the felicitation program, Ujjwal Khadka Chhetri, Head of Siddharth Bank Limited, Pharping Branch, interacted with the students in a career counseling program organized to 'What after SEE.' Students were inspired to be serious about their academic future after SEE. He told the students that if they work hard from now on, they can become competent and successful in life, and he said that the success of everything depends on management. Rather than family pressure, he suggested choosing a subject according to one's ability and desire.
