D.A.V. college successfully organized its first ever “D.A.V. Annual Vlog Fest 2020” on 31 December, 2020 for its students of MBS/BBA/BBM/BBS.
The program included the Chairman Mr. Anil Kedia, along with chief guest Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma (Dean, Faculty of Management, TU), special guest Mr. Dinesh Mani Ghimire (Asst. Dean, Faculty of Management, TU) with the research cell of the college and jury members. Students were physically present at the Sujata Hall and some virtually via zoom conferencing.
The participants were given 10 days for the submission of their Vlogs which had to show how creativity helps live a stress free life even in stressful times.
The winners of the program were awarded with their respective prizes last Thursday.
Amongst 150 vlogs submitted, 28 were selected as outstanding ones. A total of seven categories of awards were handed out to the winners along with their certificates and cash prizes of up to NRs. 15,000.
The competition was conducted via Facebook. The vlogs were shared on Facebook and had received a massive audience reach with numerous views, likes and shares.
The chairman of D.A.V. College, Mr. Anil Kedia on going through the participants’ was pleased on how they stayed true to their cause and their work on depicting many unique lifestyles and the beauty of Nepal, both natural and cultural.
