Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appointed Prof Dr Kalyani Mishra Tripathi as the new Registrar of Purbanchal University.
Prime Minister Oli, who is also the Chancellor of the university, appointed Mishra, a native of Lamjung and currently a resident of Chitwan, today, on the recommendation of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Biju Kumar Thapaliya, as per the University Act, 2050 BS.
Dr Mishra holds a PhD in horticulture from Tribhuvan University and has been involved in various research activities and bringing out publications.(RSS)
