The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education and Sports, Curriculum Development Centre (CDC), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has announced plans to timely revise and update the National Curriculum Framework for School Education, 2076 (2019).

According to a notice issued by the CDC, the framework is being updated to align with the country's changing circumstances, future-oriented educational needs, and existing frameworks like the National Education Policy 2076 and the School Education Sector Plan (2079–2088). The revision follows a recommendation made during a meeting of the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council on Baisakh 11, 2083, which was subsequently approved at the Ministerial level on Baisakh 22, 2083.

The update also aligns with ongoing policy discussions aimed at transforming the Curriculum Development Centre into a dedicated hub for research, study, and innovation.

To ensure the updated curriculum is comprehensive, the CDC has formally requested valuable suggestions, feedback, and insights from stakeholders, educationists, and the general public covering technical, educational, and academic perspectives.

Interested individuals and organizations can submit their feedback by filling out the 'Public Opinion and Feedback Form for the Review of the National Curriculum Framework 2076' available on the official CDC website or directly via the Google Form link
