The government has approved the termination of ANM, CMA, Lab Assistant, and many other TSLC Level programs. The programs were terminated as the graduates of these subjects couldn't find a job in the market.
Vice-chair of the Medical Education Commission Dr. Shrikrishna Giri informed that the government decided to close all the programs below the certificate level from this academic session as per the Article 42 of the Medical Education Act.
Similarly, Tribhuvan University will not be taking admissions in PCL Nursing from this year onwards.
