The Control Office of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has recently announced the opening of applications for students looking to pursue continuous studies, school transfers, or make program changes at the diploma and certificate levels.
For those considering continuous studies, the CTEVT is accepting requests for approval within a specified timeframe. Students who have formally registered with the council and seek a temporary break due to specific reasons can take advantage of this opportunity. Alongside a copy of the registration card, applicants must provide a letter of consent for the open quota, whether scholarship-based or full fee-paying, applicable for continuous studies. Those discontinuing their studies at a particular school are eligible to apply for continuous studies at the same institution. If the preferred school has available quotas for continuous studies, applicants must submit a verified copy of the internal evaluation from the last year/semester examination. Schools, when giving consent, are urged to recommend the quota exclusively for their institution.
For students contemplating program changes or school transfers, clear and concise explanations are required. Those registered in the first year, either under the annual examination system or the semester examination system, and who have completed registration in a different program, can apply for approval to continue their studies in the second year of the first part or the first and second parts of the program. Alongside a copy of the registration card, applicants must submit approval letters for the quotas available in both schools, an approval letter for the school with a vacant quota, and a comprehensive evaluation of the internal examination from the last year/semester. Eligibility for program changes is restricted to students from the council's affiliated schools, partnership schools, community schools, and private schools. Students who have not successfully passed the internal evaluation examination are not eligible for program changes or school transfers. When providing consent for program changes or school transfers, schools are advised to recommend the quota exclusively for their own institution.
This initiative by the CTEVT aims to facilitate a smoother process for students navigating educational transitions, ensuring they can continue their academic journeys seamlessly.
