The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), located in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur,has issued a notice directing affiliated institutions to renew their Pre-Diploma and Certificate/Diploma level programs for the upcoming academic session 2083/084.
According to the Council, institutions that have completed two years since receiving affiliation or approval must renew their programs annually. The renewal requirement is based on regular monitoring conducted by CTEVT’s provincial offices and evaluation reports from its Technical Division, which recommend whether approved programs should continue.
Institutions must submit the notarized documents as mentioned below and complete the renewal within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

- Submission Deadline with additional fee: Baisakh 10, 2083 to Baisakh 16, 2083
Required documents for the notarized program renewal include:
- Institutions must submit a renewal/update letter for the fiscal year 2081/082 issued by the Office of the Company Registrar or the office where the institution is registered, along with all documents related to the institution’s registration (including the institution’s statute, registration certificate, memorandum of association, regulations, PAN registration, etc.).
- Institutions must submit proof of tax clearance up to at least fiscal year 2081/082 or evidence of tax filing.
For health-related programs, institutions must submit following documents related to hospitals used for practical training in accordance with the Council’s minimum infrastructure guidelines, other applicable standards, provisions of the respective professional councils, and the National Medical Education Act, 2075.
- Approval letter from the authorized body confirming the number of hospital beds in use,
- Hospital renewal certificate or a current letter from the concerned authority indicating that the renewal process is underway (for non-government hospitals),
- Priority letter from the hospital specifying institutions permitted for practical training,
- Consent/agreement letter between the institution and the hospital.
Additionally, institutions must compulsorily submit documents verifying the distance between the institution and the hospital, and a self-declaration letter from the hospital clearly stating whether it is being used for undergraduate or postgraduate health-related programs.
- Institutions must submit a self-declaration confirming that only the fees set by the Council have been charged as training fees during the current academic session, along with a copy of the program renewal card from the previous academic session (2082/083).
- Institutions running Certificate Level Nursing and other 3-year health-related certificate/diploma programs with their own 100-bed hospital must submit notarized documents officially verifying the operation of their own 100-bed hospital.
- Institutions must include copies of affiliation approval letters issued by the Council, and documents related to any name change, location change, merger, or ownership transfer, if applicable.
- Only those institutions that have submitted the above-mentioned documents and have been found eligible through monitoring and evaluation by the Technical Division are required to deposit the prescribed fee in the account designated by the Council at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur (Account No. 1720100000009006). While depositing the amount, the institution’s name and address must be clearly mentioned on the bank voucher.
- The above-mentioned documents must be compulsorily attached along with the prescribed form available on the CTEVT website (www.ctevt.org.np). While submitting the application through electronic means (online), institutions must send it only via the Council’s website Quick Link or https://tinyurl.com/ctevt8384, along with a request letter on the institution’s letterhead. Otherwise, the application will not be considered eligible for renewal.
- Institutions that upgraded their health-related certificate/diploma level programs or obtained affiliation/approval to run programs of the same level in the previous academic sessions 2079/080, 2080/081, and 2081/082 must also renew those programs by submitting the required documents and fees as specified.
- Institutions must compulsorily submit documents clearly showing the current shareholding details of the institution/hospital operators or shareholders as follows:

Note:
Institutions that have obtained affiliation/approval for short-term training programs can renew their programs by paying the regular fee within the time limit calculated according to the date mentioned in the affiliation/approval letter, and after that period, by paying a late fee (double the regular fee) as per the rules.
