For the first time, Nepalgunj has introduced Chartered Accountant (CA) training, eliminating the need for aspiring accountants to travel abroad or to Kathmandu, for their studies. The Institute of Business Management (IBM) in Nepalgunj has played a pivotal role in this development, offering local residents the opportunity to pursue CA training without the constraints of geographical limitations.
CA Sagar Adhikari, a founding member of IBM, highlighted the institution's role in ending the compulsion for students to seek education outside Nepalgunj or Kathmandu. He emphasized that the establishment of IBM by experienced chartered accountants has brought an end to the era where individuals had to relocate for CA studies.
The primary objective behind the inception of IBM was to produce skilled professionals in various domains, including accounting, taxation, auditing, and professional consulting. Adhikari stressed the institute's commitment to delivering quality education and addressing the educational needs of the local community.
CA Santosh Kandel, another board member of IBM, shared plans for the institute's future endeavors. In addition to CA classes, IBM aims to introduce training sessions and seminars covering accounting management, tax-related topics, and finance-related subjects. This expansion aligns with the institute's broader vision of enhancing students' skills to meet the dynamic demands of the professional landscape.
