The Ward Office of Ward No. 1 in Jaimini Municipality, Baglung, has initiated an educational advancement by providing laptops to five community schools within its jurisdiction.
The distribution of laptops came in response to requests from the schools themselves, aiming to enhance technological education. Bishnu Acharya, the Ward Chairman, emphasized the importance of integrating technology into primary education by making laptops available for IT instructor training.
Highlighting the versatility of laptops, Acharya pointed out their suitability for practical activities outside the classroom, addressing the schools' demands effectively.
The selected schools benefiting from this initiative include Kushmi Primary School, Siddhiganesh Primary School, Janchetana Primary School, Saraswati Primary School, and Jaimini Primary School. The transfer of laptops was formally conducted at an event organized by the Ward Office.
Additionally, Acharya noted the inclusion of Shanti Secondary School and Pallopakha Community Secondary School in various educational programs, underscoring the broader community involvement in educational initiatives.
Financially, the Ward Office allocated Rs. 3,50,000 for the procurement and distribution of laptops to primary schools, with each device costing Rs. 70,000, as per Acharya's statement.
Looking ahead, Chairman Acharya expressed enthusiasm for utilizing projectors and other technological tools to enrich the learning experience for students, signaling a promising start towards further educational advancements.
