On Saturday, June 18th, ACCA Nepal organised ‘Annual Members’ Day’ at Park Village Resort in Kathmandu. This was the first event organised face to face after the corona virus pandemic.
The objective of the event was to provide a platform for members to come together, network and interact with each other. This facilitated sense of community and bonding among the members.
The highlight of the event was the recognition and felicitation of 116 new ACCA members who between March 2019 and May 2022. Rabin Katwal, the ACCA market head for Nepal, presented certificates and token of appreciation to the new members in the presence of ACCA members, ACCA Approved Learning Partners (colleges), representatives and well-wishers.
During the event, a special video message from ACCA President Orla Collins was played. She could not join the event face to face and sent her best wishes in a recorded video.
Priyanjali Joshi, Vice Chair of the Member Advisory Committee (MAC), as well as MAC Member Bipin Thapa and Senior ACCA Member Jagadish Bhattarai, shared their experiences and words of encouragement with the new members.
The day was then concluded with team building activities and games. Members shared that they had a productive and a fun filled day and looked forward to other networking events in future.
