95th Senate Meeting of KU passed Grace List of 1240 Students

Kathmandu University (KU) has published the merit list of 1,240 individuals for the 28th Convocation (Second Phase) scheduled on Jestha 28. The 95th Senate meeting has approved the list.

According to the announcement by KU after the meeting, 1,240 students from different schools will be awarded degrees during the convocation. The number of students from the 

  1. School of Arts is 35
  2. School of Education is 57
  3. School of Engineering is 365
  4. School of Management is 50
  5. School of Medical Sciences is 565
  6. School of Law is 1, and 
  7. School of Sciences is 167.

Out of the graduating students, 628 are females, accounting for 50.65 percent, and there are 73 international students from four countries, as mentioned in the press release issued by KU.

The convocation ceremony will take place on Jestha 28, Sunday, at the central campus of the university in Dhulikhel. The Academic Council had recommended various degrees for undergraduate and graduate levels for the mentioned purpose, which was then approved by the Executive Council and passed by the Senate.

The Senate has also approved the annual progress report for the fiscal year 2079-80 and the annual program and estimated income expenditure (budget) for 2080-81.

The Senate has passed KU's annual financial audit reports for the fiscal years 2077-78 and 2078-79. For the fiscal year 2079-80, auditors have been appointed for financial audits.
