Far-Western University celebrated its 5th convocation ceremony, conferring degrees to 1,377 graduates at its university premises, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur on March 9, 2025. The event was graced by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who also serves as the university's Chancellor.
According to Shailesh Pal, Head Assistant of the university, nine graduates from different faculties were awarded gold medals for securing top rank in their faculties, and two graduates won the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor's Medal in the ceremony, respectively. Professor Dr Satpal Singh Bisht, the Vice Chancellor of Soban Singh Jeena University (SSJU) in Almora, Uttarakhand, India, attended the convocation as the Special Guest.
