Students who want to enroll in BSc Horticulture and Floriculture Management, BSc Agriculture, or Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry programs of Tribhuvan University should appear in the IAAS Bachelor level examination conducted by the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) Tribhuvan University.
The entrance examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice objective-type questions from the subjects mentioned below under the Diploma Level / 10+2 level. There will be a single question paper for all three programs, and the passing mark will be 50%. The merit list for admission will be prepared by assigning 100% weightage to the entrance examination marks, and the list will be published.
In case of an equal percentage of marks, the percentage/grade of 10+2/SLC or equivalent, and even if that is equal, the percentage/grade of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Mathematics subjects will be considered in that order to determine the merit.
Here's a breakdown of the question paper:
For the ISc (Science/Agriculture/Animal/Forestry) / or 10+2 (Agriculture) or equivalent level, studying English, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Physics subjects and achieving a total score of 50% (fifty percent) or C+ under the Letter Grading System or with an aggregate CGPA/GPA 2.4 is required to be considered a pass.
For students who have studied Agriculture Science at the 10+2 level, if Mathematics subject marks are not mentioned in the Transcript, an additional mark sheet of the Mathematics subject studied must be uploaded. The additional mark sheet should have a minimum 50% percentage and Letter Grading of C+ or GPA 2.4.
If the Aggregate Transcript of 10+2 is not available and only the Transcript of class 12 is available, then the Transcript of class 12 will be considered as the basis. For those with only the Transcript of class 12, the mark sheet of class 11 should also be included in the same pdf along with the grade 12 Transcript.
