Students who want to pursue a BSc in agriculture or horticulture at the affiliated or constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University should appear for the B.Sc Ag Entrance Examination and get passing marks. Every year, 498 students are selected to study B.Sc Ag, and 50 are chosen to study B.Sc Horticulture.
Eight academic institutions are offering the B.Sc Ag program at Tribhuvan University. These are;
For the ISC (Science/Agriculture/Animal/Forestry) / or 10+2 (Agriculture) or equivalent level, studying English, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Physics subjects and achieving a total score of 50% (fifty percent) or C+ under the Letter Grading System or with an aggregate CGPA/GPA 2.4 is required to be considered a pass.
For students who have studied Agriculture Science at the 10+2 level, if Mathematics subject marks are not mentioned in the Transcript, an additional mark sheet of the Mathematics subject studied must be uploaded. The additional mark sheet should have a minimum 50% percentage and Letter Grading of C+ or GPA 2.4.
If the Aggregate Transcript of 10+2 is not available and only the Transcript of class 12 is available, then the Transcript of class 12 will be considered as the basis. For those with only the Transcript of class 12, the mark sheet of class 11 should also be included in the same pdf along with the grade 12 Transcript.
In the BScAg Entrance Examination of Tribhuvan University, 100 Multiple Choice Objective Questions will be asked from the following subjects of Proficiency Certificate Level or 10 Plus Two (10+2).
