World DNA day 2019 going to be held by BSN

Biotechnology Society of Nepal (BSN) is organizing a two-day program to celebrate the World DNA Day 2019 with an objective to aware the nation about life sciences and its impact, hand by hand with the concern partners and social organizations.
The celebration will include the audio-visual presentation of experts, scientists and policy makers, scientific march, award distribution to the Glorious contributors of the scientific community and the winning participants in various events - DNA model and art competition, essay competition, and presenters (oral and poster).
This event is targeted towards creating an understanding about the importance of Life sciences research and studies for the gross development of the country.
World DNA Day is celebrated worldwide on the 25th of April to commemorate the discovery of double helix structure of DNA by Watson and Crick in 1953 and the successful completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003.
Date: April 24th to 25th, 2019 (Baisakh 11 - 12, 2076)
Venue: Kathmandu, Nepal
