BACKGROUND
Administrative staff at the departmental, center or unit level provide administrative support for one or more activities in the offices. Included in the Administrative Staff category is a wide variety of duties and position titles, including administrative director, administrator, administrative assistant, assistant to, secretary, etcetera. Departmental Administrative Staff report directly to their supervisor in the department such as chair, unit head, unit or departmental administrator etcetera.
 
They must have the essential administrative skills to accomplish the task properly in this competitive era. Successful administrative staffs often require many of the same skills as senior staff in an organization. They are often the person in charge of the organization's correspondence. Therefore they must display a highly professional image at all times. 
 
OBJECTIVE
The role of being a professional administrative staffs requires excellent office skills, dealing with people, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and excellent communication skills. This program covers all of these, and more.
 
 
TARGET GROUP
This program is highly recommended to administrative staffs and those who want to pursue higher level administrative skills. However, the personnel working in other department in the organization also be benefited from the course.

DURATION AND DATE
This course is designed for seven days, starts at 8:30 hrs to 12:45 hrs, July 22-28, 2012 (Ashadh 7-13, 2069). There will be 2 sessions per day. Each session will be of one and half hour. Altogether, the entire training program will consist of 14 sessions.

  • Lunch break 11:30 am-12-15 pm
 
FEE STRUCTURE
  • MAN Members NRs.14,500.00 per person (Inclusive of government tax)
  • Non-MAN Members NRs.15,500.00 per person (Inclusive of government tax)
The participation fee covers expenses of tuition fee, stationary, reading materials and refreshments every day. Please note that applicants are required to send the program fee with the registration form. Separate invoice will be issued for the payment purpose after receiving your confirmation.
 
NOMINATION
The nomination of the participants should reach MAN office by July 20, 2012 (Shrawan 5, 2069). We will entertain nominees on the first-come-first priority basis. Number of participants for this program will be among 20-25.

About the Organizer
Management Association of Nepal (MAN) was established in 1979 as the apex body of the management professionals with active support of the corporate sector in Nepal.
