Traineeship Opportunity for Female Engineers

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is offering Technical Assistance (TA) to aid the Government of Nepal (GON) in executing the Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme (MLRBP) within Nepal. In representation of SDC, the CIAS-MEH JV is welcoming applications from recent female Civil Engineering graduates at the Bachelor's level. These applications are for traineeship positions aimed at providing hands-on experience in both engineering and management aspects of constructing motorable bridges.

• Title: Trainee Engineer - 21 positions
• Deadline for Application Submission: September 17, 2023
• Qualification: Fresh Graduates completing Bachelor in Civil Engineering from December 2022 onwards
• Duty Station: Provincial offices potentially from December 2023 to May 2024
• The traineeship opportunity is for females only, preferably from Dalit, Janjati, Madhesi/Teral caste/ethnicity, ethnic and religious minorities and discriminated Newar castes.
• It is mandatory for the selected trainees to complete the full traineeship program.
