Teachers' Conference 2026

Kathmandu University School of Education, in collaboration with Rapti Babai Campus, is organizing the Teachers' Conference 2026 in Lumbini Province. The conference will take place on May 2, 2026 (Baisakh 26, 2083), Saturday, at Rapti Babai Campus in Tulsipur, Dang.

The theme of the conference is "The Need for Critical, Creative, and Wise Teachers in the Time of the Commercialized Information Landscape."

Key Events

The conference will feature a keynote speech by Prof. Bal Chandra Luitel, PhD, followed by a panel discussion and participant presentations. Several workshops will be conducted on the following topics:

  • STEAM-Based Pedagogy
  • Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Teachers
  • Authentic Assessment (Grade 1–5)
  • Instructional Leadership
  • Student Counseling and Classroom Management

The conference invites participation from:

Call for Abstracts

Teachers, school leaders, researchers, and education practitioners are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference. Abstracts should be 200–300 words in length and can be written in either English or Nepali. Each submission must include the title, author name(s), and affiliation. The submission deadline is April 30, 2026.
