Swostishree Gurukul IB World School, committed to cultivating global citizens through an inquiry-based, interdisciplinary learning approach, is all set to host an insightful event, ‘Entrepreneurship at the School Level’, aiming to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among young learners. 

Students from grades 9-12 are invited to the event, organized by the school, in collaboration with the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the International Schools Association (ISA). Through these diverse components, the school aims to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of innovators and leaders, demonstrating the immense value of nurturing entrepreneurship at the school level.

Event Highlights:

  • Panel Discussion: Experts and educators will engage in a discussion on integrating entrepreneurship into school curricula.
  • Idea Showcasing: Students will have the opportunity to present their innovative entrepreneurial ideas.
  • Cultural Performance: The event will also feature cultural performances.

Keynote speakers and participants at the event will include:

  • Keynote Speaker: Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, Dean at Kathmandu University School of Education.
  • Special Guest: Mr. Umesh Kumar Gupta, Executive Director, IEDI.

A distinguished panel will also lead discussions:

  • Chief Guest: Mr. Antoine Cornudet (Tony), Head of School Division, The Power School, Madrid, Spain.
  • Mr. Pavitra Gautam, CEO, Karkhana.
  • Ms. Neha KC, Principal, Swostishree Gurukul IB World School.

 Participating Groups:

  • Group 1: Aquapot: (Aarav Parajuli, Suruchee Adhikari, Vaya Sapkota, and Kabir Acharya)
  • Group 2: Hariyo Ventures: (Awaneesh Shrestha, Pratigya Sharma, Arhana Saakha, Deepan Joshi, and Aashriti Shrestha)
  • Group 3: Kathmandu Streets Collection: (Jevish Burlakoti, Aayan Bogati, Pranjal Ghimire, and Samyam Thapa)

The event will be moderated by Ms. Juna Mathema, Executive Committee Member at FNCCI Start-up & Innovation Forum at FNCCI.

The audience for this event will comprise students from invited schools and high school students, ensuring a broad engagement with the concepts of entrepreneurship and leadership. 

Adding to the interactive nature of the event, there will be Exhibition Stalls showcasing practical entrepreneurial ventures, including a Knitting Stall and a Plants Stall, providing tangible examples of student initiative.

The event is expected to serve as a dynamic platform to educate and inspire the next generation of changemakers. It is expected to reinforce the school’s vision of shaping globally aware, compassionate, and socially responsible leaders through hands-on, interdisciplinary learning.
