Social innovation and venture plan and idea contest Spring 2015.
The purpose of this competition is to incorporate social innovation and social enterprise for the community development of Nepal's rural and suburban areas by stimulating the participation of the Master level students of all universities, Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and the interested individuals of Nepal. Social innovation are new strategies , concept , idea and Organizations that meet social needs of all kinds - from working conditions and education to community development and health - that extend and strengthen civil society.
The participation and partnering of the Nepalese government, Corporation, World organization, Tribhuvan University and Nepalese people will establish positive contribution that will allow the people to actively and assertively participate to innovatively change their own communities and induce growth and develop the area.
The proposal selected as the best will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 100,000, and the second third best proposals will be rewarded with the cash prize of Rs. 50,000and Rs.25,000 respectively. Selected proposals will be utilized to implement on the development of the Communities and cultivate social innovators that will continuously participate to develop Nepal.
If you meet the interest of the announced competition, Please submit your proposals by the deadline 5:00 PM, 15 March 2015.
Interested persons and agencies may summit their proposal in sealed envelope.
