Objectives and Outputs:
1. Bring together stakeholders to share knowledge of opportunities and threats to Nepal’s rivers.
2. Prepare recommendations to govern the rivers of Nepal.
3. Form a core group to take the process forward and produce a National River Governance document.
4. Identify key gaps in documentation, knowledge and understanding of Nepal’s rivers and plan a strategy to fill those gaps.
5. To create a forum to ensure continued communication between stakeholders and raise public awareness of river management and conservation.
