Kathmandu University is all set to host the 1st National Conference on School Counseling and Psychological Wellbeing on June 20, 2025, at Vivanta Kathmandu, Jhamsikhel. Themed “Transforming Self and Others for Sustainable Happiness,” the event is being organized by the School Counseling and Wellbeing Support Centre, Kathmandu University.
The conference aims to bring together educators, mental health professionals, researchers, and policymakers to discuss pressing issues in the fields of school counseling and psychological well-being.
The objective of the conference is to drive policy advocacy for school-based psychosocial support and to share recent research and studies related to school wellbeing. It also seeks to bring together the researchers and practitioners in the field of school counseling and psychological well-being.
The program is designed for a broad audience, including policy makers, psychologists, school counselors, general counselors, researchers, teachers, educators, students, and wellbeing practitioners.
