JNMA is the first and oldest medical journal published by Nepal Medical Association since 1963. It is internationally peer reviewed, PubMed index general medical journal that publishes Original Article, Review Article, Case Reports, Medical Education, Viewpoints, and Letter to the Editors, quarterly.
In its 54 years of history, JNMA has gained so much of knowledge and experiences which need to be shared with the many others that will help them establish and manage a journal in a most scientific way.
With this vision, JNMA is launching 10 weeks intensive short course for Medical Journal Editor which also include self-directed learning (course material) at home. Please follow the link below for complete training contents: https://goo.gl/8XR14b
During this short course, you will be working to establish a new medical journal in Nepal. This knowledge and experience will help you establish or maintain your current journal in the best way possible.
Eligibility:
1. Editorial Board Member of "Nepal Medical Journal"
2.Editor(s) of a Medical Journal in Nepal (few seats available)
2. Please complete an online course on "Protecting Human Research Participants" available online at https://phrp.nihtraining.com/ [If you are new to this website please create your account and complete the course and get the certificate.] 3. Few seats will be reserved for highly interested NMA members, who could be potential editor in the future
Duration: 10 Weeks (from 05 Nov 2017 to 07 Jan 2018)
Time: 10:00 to 17:00
Date: 5th Nov 2017, Sunday (Every Sunday for 10 weeks till 31st Dec 2017)
Venue: Journal of Nepal Medical Association, NMA Building, Siddhi Sadan, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Registration Fees: NRs. 250/- (NMA members), NRs. 500/- (for rest of the applicants)

Confirmation: All selected individual will be sent invitation letter/call from JNMA after the deadline. If unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the quota will be transferred to the waiting list.
