Hackathon and Career Fest- 2025 at Himalaya College of Engineering

Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) has organized  a three-day Hackathon and Career Fest from (Magh 27-29) 9th-11th February, 2025, in joint collaboration with its three dynamic clubs-Himalaya IT Club, Himalaya Electronics and Computer Club, Himalaya Robotics Club, and Independent Students' Council of Himalaya College of Engineering.

The ongoing 48-hour event, designed to unite talented young minds from across the country, was started at 10 AM in the college hall. Prof. Dr. Gajendra Prasad Sharma participated as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

Venue: Himalaya College of Engineering Hall

Himani Bhattarai, the president of the organizing committee for this event, has invited students from different IT and engineering colleges to visit the stalls at the college premises as the Career Fest is also one of the important part of the event.

The event expects to bridge the gap between academia and industry, as the students will meet with leading companies, explore job openings, give mock interviews, and showcase their skills, and thus the industry will also explore the potentiality of their future human resources.

Event Highlights: 

Hackathon :  a platform where students will works in team for 48 continious hours to solve real-world problems by building projects guided by industry mentors.

Career Fest: an opportunity for students to meet with leading companies, explore job openings, give mock interviews, and showcase their skills.
