SHARE EVENT

Social Work Club and Thames IT Club of Thames International College are organizing Faceless Monsters Online, photo story competition on the theme of “ONLINE HATRED AND BULLYING”.

Internet now is not just a place to visit for fun and refreshments. It has become significant part of our daily life. Since the COVID-19, internet is new virtual society, workplace, college and everything that we had in our physical world.

There is enough good content on the internet to learn and grow our personalities but at the same time, internet can also be a scary place where people bully others, harass and spread hatred. It is easy to hide one's identity behind a screen and spread negativity but its effect can be dangerous to the victim. Therefore, Social Work Club of Thames and Thames IT Club came together to organize this event where people can share their stories and spread awareness against online hatred and bullying.
