Capture the Flag (CTF) is a captivating cybersecurity competition where participants utilize vulnerabilities and tackle challenges in order to obtain "flags." These flags symbolize concealed information strategically positioned within servers and computer systems. Engaging in this event offers students an opportunity to encounter genuine cybersecurity scenarios, fostering the development of their skills and encouraging them to adopt the mindset of both hackers and defenders.
Open to second and third-year students, the competition expects a participation of approximately 150 individuals. Moreover, this event encourages education, the improvement of skills, collaborative teamwork, and networking. It acts as a platform for assessing and researching security, granting participants invaluable practical experience in the IT realm.
