Call for Application - Political Culture, Democracy and Society - Third Batch

Call for Application!!

All too often, we have set of complains about politics and politicians, but have we ever thought of the opportunities we have within the political culture. Isn't it time that we come together, have a discussion and dialogue in fostering democratic practices amongst the young people as Nepal is going through this important democratic transition.

Youth Initiative has designed a three days residential program"Political Culture, Democracy and Society" for Nepali youth leaders which aims to foster and strengthen democratic practices in the Nepalese society by understanding, learning, reflecting current context and planning together for future actions.

Goal

Raise awareness of political opportunities among young people, significantly enhance support for Nepalese youth leaders who, individually and as a collective, collaborate with key actors for sustainable democracy in Nepal.

Purpose

To create a safe, interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere in which participants have the opportunity to creatively explore practical ways to understand political culture, democracy and act upon social change in Nepal.

Objectives

  • To provide a common forum for Nepali youth from diverse background;
