Overview:
According to ADB (Asian Development Bank) statistics, a municipality in Nepal generates 1435 tons of waste per day which translates into 524,000 tons of waste per year per municipality. The term "upcycling" refers to transforming waste, by-products, unwanted products into new and better products of environmental value.
This workshop is designed to enable young generations to acquire upcycling skills which in turn will help in tackling problems of climate change and environmental degradation. It also aims to promote and inspire future generations to take up entrepreneurial ventures with environmental and green initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria: 12th-grade students only
Note: The selected participants will have to bring their student ID card on the day of the workshop.
