Currently, 5 institutions offer Ten Plus Two in Electrical Engineering under National Examinations Board in Nepal with 2 of them offering in Kathmandu district.

Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) has introduced Technical education in plus two level from 2015 AD.

Ten Plus Two (+2) in Electrical Engineering program focuses on building a strong foundation in electrical and electronics concepts. Throughout the two years, students study subjects such as electrical circuit theory, basic electronics, power systems, electromagnetics, and digital logic. They can continue their studies in bachelor-level programs such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Information Technology. Alternatively, they can enter the workforce as junior technicians in areas like electrical maintenance, basic electronics, and power systems.

Students will to enroll in grade 11 Vocational Subject Group (Electrical Engineering) must score

  • GPA: 1.6
  • C in English, Science and Mathematics
  • D+ in Social and Nepali
