Acupuncture is the method of preventing and treating different diseases which involves inserting very fine needles at specific anatomic point on the skin (acupoint). Moxibustion is the way of burning moxa herb on the body surface in order to prevent and treat different diseases. Acupressure refers to the application of manual pressure on the specific points on the body surface to treat various ailments.

The use of acupuncture, acupressure and moxibustion is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is a medical system that has been used for thousands of years to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease.

CTEVT offers Certificate level program in Acupuncture Acupressure and Moxibustion. It is a 3 years program.

Eligibility

Secured at least grade C in C. Mathematics, C. English and C.Science in School leaving Certificate (SLC) examination from recognized academic institution and an average GPA of at least 2.
