Master of Philosophy(MPhil) in Management sciences is 21 months (One year and half year) program, and is a professional research-based academic program of Faculty of Management of Mid-Western University.
Program Vision: Aimed to promote the access and affordability to universal higher education, research and innovation in the field of management.
Program Mission:
- To promote quality education and management practices by maintaining the universal academic system standards.
- Creation, protection and dissemination of meaningful knowledge and information through teaching-learning, research and innovation, industry-academia dialogues and policy advisory discourses.
- Collective transformation and meaningful empowerment of the society for economic growth and sustainable national development leading to the attainment of economies of welfare-state and prosperity.
- Community outreach learning and innovation, national and international development project partnerships and society-academic-industry-wide collaborations.
Program Objectives: To equip and develop the aspiring scholars with knowledge, skill competence and attitude on advanced research based professional development.

Entry Requirements:
Academic Performance and Work Experience
The candidate must have earned a master’s equivalent degree in management.
- For the candidates having cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 out of 4.00 (at least 50%): 2 years work experience is mandatorily required after the completion of the first Master’s degree.
- For the Candidates having cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 (or at least 60%): 1 year work experience is mandatorily required after the completion of the first Master’s degree.

For the Candidates having cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 out of 4.00 (or at least 70%): No experience is required after the completion of Master’s degree.

Admission Process
- Step I: Candidate formally submits the application documents
- Step II: MPhil Admissions Committee screens the eligible applications and informs to
- each candidate via email
- Step III: The Admission Committee conducts the written examinations and personal interviews of the candidates successful in written examinations
- Step IV: The Admission Committee publishes the final results and calls for admission confirmation
Objective Selection Process for Admission
- Marks obtained in Master’s degree 20%
- Research work and academic writing 5% (2.5 percent each)
- Marks obtained in written exam 50%
- Interview 25%
