B-Tech in Biotechnology program shall extend over a period of Eight semester (four Academic Years). This program was launched with the aim of producing graduates with adequate knowledge in various fields of biotechnology enabling them to pursue further education in relevant areas and to develop professionalism independently.
Biotechnology: it is a key to all technologies in industries and it is defined as the most important part of the modern science and technology (S&T), which gives the knowledge to all the people regarding for the improvement of corps, harnessing microbus for health, production of food stuffs such as Milk, Cord, Ghee, Eggs, Meats, Breads Cheeps, Butter and other products as the daily commodities produced by plants and animals.
The Biotechnology has lead to the development for recombinant DNA which is used as the tools for the manufacturer of human insulin for diabetic’s patients. Similarly corps verities and animal breeds with entirely new and highly useful traits are produce with the help of biotechnology.
In its purest form the term “Biotechnology” refers to the use of living organisms or their products to modify human health and the human environment and improve the life style of human beings.
Eligibility
The Candidate must have passed +2 Science/A level or Equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) from any recognized academic institution with a minimum of 45% marks or GPA 2.0 in aggregate.
