Three year Master of Laws (LL.M.) program was introduced by the Faculty of Law in 2012 in Nepal Law Campus. The objectives of this programme are same as of a two year LL.M. programme. Admission criteria, evaluation system, grading system also are same to a two year LL.M. programme.

3 years LLM program is conducted in the morning on full fee basis. Only 35 students can get admission in this programme. The person who desires to get admission in this programme should pass entrance exam. The entrance exam is same for both two years and three year’s LL.M. The successful applicant can choose either two-year LL.M or three-year LL.M programme.

3 years LLM program is running in the morning and attractive for the employees with different governmental, non-governmental, corporation and companies and busy lawyers. There are 11 reserve seats in this programme, these are: Women-2, Madhesi-2, Indigenous nationalities-2, Dalit-1, Foreign students-2, Backward areas -1, and People with Disabilities-1.

 

Eligibility

Admission Rules for 3-Year LL.M.

The admission of a three year LL.M. opens generally with other masters’ degree programmes of the Tribhuvan University. Students seeking admission to this programme can apply while the Faculty announces for admission. Applicants seeking admission should face entrance exam except foreigners. The language of entrance exam is either in English or Nepali. Jurisprudence of Bachelor of Laws is considered as the syllabus for LL.M. entrance exam.

Admission Criteria

The admission of a 3-year LL.M. opens generally with 2-year LL.M. All process and criteria of the admission are similar like 2-year LL.M.
