The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) at St. Lawrence College is designed for students who aspire to create a meaningful impact in society. Offered under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tribhuvan University, this three-year program combines theory, research, and extensive fieldwork to prepare students for entry-level professional roles in the social work and development sectors.

St. Lawrence College has been running this program since 2008 A.D., with a primary focus on Social Work, Psychology, Mass Communication, and Major English. The program equips students with essential skills to support community development, advocate for social justice, and serve vulnerable populations.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • Secured at least D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and 12
    OR
  • Passed +2, Intermediate, or PCL from TU or any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks
